The hum of this record is so intoxicating. The sound almost shimmers. There’s a visceral high you get when listening to it, especially when you do so on repeat. Which is how I’ve been listening to Beach Fossils’ first release for the past 3 days.

Bright, brilliant pop, dripping with do-it-yourself nostalgia. The effort of Dustin Payseur, who recorded it on his own before building a band to play it live. You can feel it taking its damn sweet time as it bursts from your speakers with a fuzzy, warm, vibe.
